What a find! Happened to be staying right beside Romano’s and tried their sandwiches at lunch - they were fantastic. So good, in fact, that we came back for dinner the next day. The food, service, and atmosphere were all on point. It’s family-run, and you can tell they care and take pride in their craft. Quality ingredients and authentic taste, especially the carbonara. Highly recommend Romano’s if you’re in Cornwall!

Such a fabulous little Italian gem hidden in Carbis bay. We visited today for a late lunch as a family of four, including one toddler, all left very full. A true taste of Italy. Great food & drink menu selection, ran by a lovely family. The cafe also has an Italian market with fresh produce and Italian classics such a pasta to purchase. Highly recommend a visit!

We stayed at an AirBnB not too far from here, our host recommended coming here. The coffee was exceptional here as were the sandwiches. Reminded us of a coffee/deli that closed in our town and was also excellent. Staff were very friendly. The sandwich choice was very good, well filled and lots of flavour! Would highly recommend!

We popped in whilst on holiday, as we had seen adverts for this place. We were not disappointed. A hidden gem, with wonderfully friendly staff and fabulous produce. We bought some meats, cheeses and pastries etc. They were all delicious. Fresh croissants from the oven on our 2nd visit before we came home. They do have a few tables for you to eat in and are a restaurant in the evenings. With charcuterie boards, etc. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Carbis Bay in September, hopefully eating in then, too. If you love Italian food, you're in for a treat.

We stopped off for a coffee and pastry with our kids on our way for a wander. Staff could not have been more friendly, going out of their way to interact with our kids. Coffee was great, and the pastries delicious! We enjoyed it that much, we went back for a take away lunch!

Brilliant Italian café/ delicatessen/ wine bar in Carbis Bay. The pastries were delicious especially the pistachio and hazelnut. Quality coffee. Plenty of Italian food. Good value too. Nearly made the mistake of going to Costa. Thank God I found this local gem. Run by long haired surfer dudes who driver yellow beetles with obligatory surfboard on top. Buenossimo!

We had breakfast here both days we stayed in carbis bay, and we only wished it was closer to home! Authentic little italian cafe with proper coffees and a wide selection of pastries. My partner had the chocolate filled croissant, and I had the pistachio one day and the apricot the other. All equally amazing. There was a large selection of italian pastries on offer with a good variety of foccacia style sandwiches on at lunch time. If we're down in Cornwall again, we'll definitely make a visit down just for this cafe!

We stopped by Romanos for lunch and were really impressed. The paninos were excellent — fresh, generously filled, and clearly made with good-quality ingredients. The staff were genuinely friendly and took the time to explain what was in everything, which was a nice touch. It’s a relaxed little place with a lot of care put into what they serve. Would happily come back next time we’re in Carbis Bay.
